Powerful waterfall next to adjacent power plant. Sound of waterfall surprisingly loud. Take the turn on School Street to the small park for an unobstructed view of the falls.

We went in January when it was randomly 50 degrees. It was very powerful and even though the park was closed there was a great view from the street. Parking was only available on the street, but there were plenty of spaces.

Really cool place. Like a smaller version of Niagara falls! There is a walk path were you can sit and watch and listen to the falls, during rainstorm the rush of the water is awesome to watch.

Convenient parking in lot across street. We took the whole family from ages 7 to 77. Good informational posters explain the significance of the falls. Easy walk to see view of falls from top, then 86 steps down the steep trail to see where the...More

Park across the street in the small parking lot and then follow the bridge over the sluiceway to the little park. From there you get a fantastic view of the Cohoes Falls. At sunset the falls get lit up nicely for photography.
