If you don't sail or you do, this place is for you. They have so many events on this street during the summer months.

A must visit so many places to visit and so many choices of seafood to choose from. I always love going to Freeport's Nautical Mile.

I walked here recently, just to see how it is, and I was not dissapointed. Next I must walk here, and choose which restaurant to eat at.

Whenever I travel to New York during summer, I must visit Freeport's Nautical Mile. It is a place to forget about everything and to fully enjoy life. They got delicious food and live music at night. I love the Italian restaurants since they prepare the best sea food.

Decide to go to 2 Cousins and bring some dinner home. The lobster bisque did not have any lobster or should I say any seafood in it at all. It was a $6 pint of tomato soup. The baked clams had plenty of clams but the flavor just wasn't there. The crawfish salad which I was excited for, was overly... More

The Nautical Mile begins with several boats docked for fishing trips or meal / dance cruises, then a battery of restaurants and fish markets, then ends with a nice gazeebo-like area at the end where it is nice to take a date to talk, take in the sites, and hang out. Ralph's Ices and an ice cream parlor is also... More

I love going down by the canal in Freeport! They have the festival every summer. The best part of the Freeport Festival are the pig races. I took my son when he was just a toddler and my granddaughters too. The kids LOVE "The Mile", as we call it.

Any day of the week this seems like a really good place to come out and have a drink or two. If you like seafood, there's no one place that specializes in it, but the food either way is tasty. The atmosphere is wonderful for an afternoon and/ or early evening visit. The noise ordinances that are in place for... More

The Nautical mile is full of restaurants, clam bars, and seafood shacks which serve excellent seafood and usually have live music. Park and walk along the canal, stop have a drink and then continue on to have lunch or dinner at another spot. At the end if the mile is an esplanade ace with a great view of the Freeport... More
