The Cradle of Aviation Museum is a fun interactive museum. It has hands on exhibits. The Long Island Mitchell Field history comes alive here. There is a cafe restaurant.

Visited the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Was very pleased with not only the planes and related items, but all the information on Long Island companies and airfields. Spent 4 hours and will return for at least 4 to 6 more hours. Well worth visiting.

I think it was $9.00 to get in and $8.00 for seniors. I don't know about students or a person with disabilities. Sorry.
