Tuthilltown Spirits Farm Distillery is New York’s first whiskey distillery...

Tuthilltown Spirits Farm Distillery is New York’s first whiskey distillery since prohibition, distilling some of America’s most prized spirits here in the Hudson Valley. oday, Tuthilltown Spirits distills Indigenous Vodka from apples grown at orchards less than five miles away and the highly awarded Hudson Whiskey line, using grain harvested by farmers less than ten miles away. The Visitor Center offers guests the opportunity to taste the collection of whiskeys, vodkas, gins, liqueurs, and other unique, handmade spirits.

Tours illustrate how Tuthilltown’s spirits are made by hand, one batch at a time. Guests are encouraged to stay for the day and enjoy the family-friendly environment.

The onsite restaurant, Tuthill House at the Mill, serves Seasonal, New American cuisine and spectacular cocktails in the historic 1788 gristmill. The menu is inspired by modern American cooking, showcasing fresh, local artisan products and ingredients of the Hudson Valley.

We've been to Tuthilltown Spirits before and to be honest we'll be back again. Why...you may ask ...simple they produce a great product. First off the offer 5 tastings for 5 dollars USD per person and you get to keep the tasting glass. That is a great bonus, but to be clear ...we have enough tasting glasses (their all becoming... These guys nailed every aspect of the experience. Friendliest staff, delicious spirits and beautiful grounds. They were super accommodating and let us catch a late tasting. Super dog friendly. We felt like we were welcomed into someone's home. The spirits are delicious, try the gin and the Manhattan rye

Stopped here while in the area for wineries. We brought friends not from the area and tried some whiskeys. They were really impressed with the variety of spirits they had. My husband and friend couldn't have full tasting due to closing time, but we plan on stopping by again, and stopping in the restaurant for more drinks and eats.

We found a flyer for this distillery in a coffee shop. All throughout our NY adventure we have seen the Hudson Baby Bourbon. Here is where it was born. We each requested the flight of five to taste. -- do we can try 10things. The proprietor was very knowledgeable and quite proud of their booze. No wonder. It's some good... More

I found the tour and thought it would be fun. We called and made a reservation for 1pm. We arrived early and they were able to fit us in the 12pm tour. The tour guide was entertaining and able to answer all of our questions. It was educational, but not dull. After learning about the entire distilling process, we headed... More

As we worked our way through sites and attractions of Orange County, we happened upon Tuthilltown Distillery; which was located between Robibero Winery and Adair Vineyards. To start the place has a great atmosphere and the staff is both knowledgeable in the product and extremely friendly. For a minimal fee of 10 dollars per person you get to try 5... More

Wonderful menu, great bread, warm butter, great service by experienced waiter, yummy but pricy food. Cucumber water, with a carafe left on our table. My niece had a fennel stew that she loved, a half-full glass of wine, which she liked, and I had a delicious salmon tartare on a bed of lentils! Delicious! (An appetizer which was so generous... This is the third time we've visited Tuthilltown distillery for a tasting and while we will visit again we will not do another tasting. Or if we taste we won't make a purchase. Don't get me wrong---we really like their bourbons, whisky, real tonic & triple sec but the tasting was $10 without a deduction if you purchased a bottle.... More

This was our second time we visited for a tour and tasting, taking different groups of friends with us. The tour is quite interesting and entertaining. We went early to enjoy a drink at the bar. The cocktails are different and fun to try. Our group stayed to eat at their restaurant as well, which I highly recommend!

Our day started by driving in to see some old style building and some great flowers. We walked around to the other stores to look at art work then decided to go for the tasting. When we walk in the store manger Greeted us with a friendly smile. He asked if we would like to do a tasting and we... More
