This is quite an attractive bridge that you should check out if you ever have the misfortune to be in Staines. The riverside walk is very pleasant.

As others have pointed out: it's a bridge with two lanes of traffic passing across and a pavement on either side, so is probably more practical than visually impressive. There's not much really to be said about it, other than: don't drive across it, walk...More

We were in Staines last week and had booked Mercure on the Thames Hotel, which as the name suggests is along the famous river. It’s also very close to the Staines Bridge which looks amazingly beautiful in the evenings with the light low, the sun...More

This is a lovely old bridge which is very attractive and has character. It has lovely old fashioned street lamps and is especially picturesque looking at it from the towpath or pub. It does get very congested with traffic so if you want a nice...More

This is no London bridge but it's has character and I've been stuck on this for many minutes at a time so don't cross here by car during the busy hour but walk across it visiting Staines on nice day.

It's a bridge...over a body of water, big water, lots and lots of water. It's made of stones and asphalt, dark grey asphalt. It has nice ducks crossing in the mornings; and the council could sort out the weird 3:1 lane roundabout in the mornings....More

This is the first time that I have walked across Staines bridge, though I have paddled underneath it a dozen times during the Devizes to Westminster canoe race! From the bridge you have a great view of the very majestic River Thames, The Swan pub...More

If I had a pound for every wasted hour of my life spend sat in queues on this bridge, I would be rich as creases by now! A beautiful bridge made a disaster area by poor road planning on either side. Why don't the roads...More
