10 bucks for all adults (no senior discount), and not a large museum at all. The large model train set is excellent and the main attraction. They have a steam engine, a railcar, and some other outside displays as well as a small museum of...More

I visited the Riverhead location with my two-year-old and he had a great time riding the mini train and especially checking out the huge model train set. The mini train ride just goes around a circle a few times, but I suppose it's thrilling for...More

$10 per adult and 5 for kids more than 12 yo. Did not have fun at all. We had a long ride to visit the aquarium here and it wasn't fun seeing this railroad museum. There's nothing to see at all. Waste of time to...More

I am glad we stopped in during a great afternoon, but I did not feel that there was a lot of information in comparison to the many other railroad museums that we have been to. This is a good place to stop in for a...More

We enjoyed the nearly empty, slightly dusty but authentically-felt museum, with a knowledgeable guide walking us through the important rail history of Greenport. We were though puzzled by the placement of three railcars of questionable value, positioned so that they greatly obscured the beautiful and...More

My husband is a train buff so we went to the RR Museum of Long Island. The $7 admission fee lets you visit both the Riverhead and Greenport locations. We visited only the Riverhead location. They have a parking lot. Buy your tickets in the...More

Seeing the inside of a real caboose and reading about it was fascinating. The rest was simply on railroad car of memorabilia. If you were really into the history of trains you might enjoy this but again, it is small.
