As an avid traveler, I have seen many beaches but this beach seems to offer a sense of old world charm. You can catch a glimpse of fishing boats heading out to sea or fisherman catching fish along the jetty. You can also watch surfers ride the waves, or even occasionally see seals ride the waves. But if you choose... More

Even in the cold time of the year, it`s a great place to stay for a while, see the ocean and share some beers with your firends. There is not a store or something near... so If you like to eat or drink something you have to take it from home.

Ponquogue Beach with it's beautiful white sand and frisky surf is an obvious choice in the summer time. The parking fee for non residents is reasonable, and it's never crazy crowded like beaches in Nassau County. But it's also beautiful this time of year. Wrap up well and take a walk with the brisk autumn wind blowing your mental cobwebs... More

Visited this beach on a Monday night in August before sunset so can't comment on the crowds. Beach was beautiful and clean. There were surfers and people that parked there trucks on the beach. Sign said no dogs allowed but if you walk to the right about 1/4 mile there is a fence with a sign that says dogs are... More

This is my go-to beach for summer in the Hamptons. The area was once owned by a philanthropist who willed the property to the Town of Southampton with the stipulation that it must never be developed. It's peaceful and the dunes are beautifully untouched, which helps make sunsets fantastic. There is a lot for paid parking on one side where... More

This is a great family beach, with concession stand, clean bathrooms and good parking. Has wheel chair ramp up to concession stand, clean bathrooms and a great view of the ocean. Parking is free after 6pm. Great place to watch sunset or take a walk.
