We went here under suggestion of a good friend. We found it amazing and beautiful. We rented a tablet that gave a tour in English as my German is not the best. This is incredibly well done. Not the best for young children, as they will be a bit bored. However, this is a very well done and interesting place... More

This little museum does a great job explaining the Celtic grave find and dig. It shows the artifacts in replica, and explains context well. Outside is a settlement with volunteer ? Actors who explain some of the everyday life of the celts.

This is the dig out of a Kelts tribe leader. The museum shows all artifacts that were found in an untouched grave. The installation was made by craftsmen in the original production methods. Who wants to know how the Kelts lived should have a look.

The museum displays have both German and English descriptions. For me, the highlight was the display of ancient Celtic Chief's burial chariot. Outside the museum building, the museum staff have replicated the Celts living conditions and agrarian efforts, including patches of woad. Fascinating!
