We were so excited that the Hudson Opera House was renovating their main performance space that we booked it for our September 2017 wedding before the restoration was even done! The team at Hudson Hall was so warm, accommodating and fun to work with on...More

We went for a free concert by TON (The Orchestra Now) at this hall. The stage is a bit small, so only a subset of the orchestra could fit. Also the stage is rather high. But the acoustics are excellent. The place has exhibition space...More

Thank you for attending the free concert by The Orchestra Now of Bizet's Symphony in C. We're so pleased you enjoyed the acoustics in the restored performance hall and seeing our exhibition space. We hope to see you again at another Hudson Hall event!

We attended a late afternoon performance of the opera "The Mother of us All" in this beautiful building. Large black and white photos grace the walls of the downstairs lobby and hall. Refinished floors sparkle and the staircase is typical of large buildings of the...More

Was nothing to see. Needs to be restored. Wasn't what I expected. They had a little history of the place but wasn't really interesting. It ws in and out in 15 minutes. Would not recommend it.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit back in 2015. Things have changed quite a bit since we finished renovating New York State's oldest surviving theater. We hope you'll come back and see the restoration for yourself!

The Hudson Opera House has brought concerts and art exhibits to Hudson for years. Programming is very high quality, and the performance space is intimate. The building was once a bank, and after that an opera house, where Jenny Lind sang (I think). Foresighted people...More

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We're now back in business -- New York State's oldest surviving theater is fully restored. Come stop by and see it in its full glory.

Oldest such place in NYC. In process of renovation after years of abandonment, so be prepared for an old place. But worth the visit to see a performance space that must have been grand in its day.
