Spent extended anniversary weekend at Driftwood B&B. They provided kayaks for their guests. It was so relaxing and enjoyable to take leisurely floats on the lake during all times of the day. The evening sunset was especially spectacular. Wife even gave kayaking lesson to another...More

We picked up the best day right after big storm and lake falls was in the full blown capacity. Crossing the bridge under the fall was awesome and great!

Stayed at Cayuga Lake Cabins, the cabin was wonderful, everything is brand new, clean, quite and convenient to the wineries, hiking and waterfalls. The owners are terrific, they stop by to make sure everything is Ok, check out there wedsite you won't be disappointed, JJohn

We took the time to explore all the waterfalls and lakes around Ithaca College and were in awe of this swimmable lake with gorgeous views atop the breathtaking waterfalls! Even dogs can bathe in the bottom of this lake. You'll get lots of exercise climbing...More

One of update New York's famous finger lakes, Cayuga is an excellent example of the unique environment of these special lakes. Glacial carved from sedimentary rock, and nestled between rolling green forested mountains, the lake is excellent to picnic on or boat on.

Didn’t spend a lot of time there but we had a picnic lunch and really enjoyed the view. You can rent kayaks which would have been a lot of fun.

The state parks are the best option for family friendly activities. I'd recommend going to either buttermilk falls or Robert Tremen State Park for waterfall watering holes. Toughannok has a flat creek bed that you and your... More

Pets on a leash are allowed in state parks. Curb your pets poops and you'll be fine.
