Lovely walk along one side of the water (2.25 miles) going up and a return down the other. Moderately strenuous in the heat but very manageable. It was lovely to be able to cool off in the pool under the final waterfall at the end...More

We enjoyed a couple of the trails at the park. They offer easy and challenging hikes. We did both and found both to be well maintained.

A beautiful place to hike in summer, spring and especially the fall. You can get there with the TCAT bus.

Went hiking with family, views are amazing on the upper end of the park trails, swimming area on the lower end was also very fun even with the water being cold. Great place for a day of hiking picnicking and family fun.

Overall great state park for kids and families! Swimming area at the bottom of a huge gorge with waterfall. Good trails in the forest and along the gorge. And although it's not advertised, often locals dip their feet ito the water at many points along...More

Tompkins County is blessed with many beautiful places and state parks but Treman is the best in our opinion. The lower park is great for camping, swimming and hiking but it's the upper park that has the most dramatic beauty with the gorge and the...More

We stopped here one afternoon to visit Lucifer Falls at this location. The park is very accessible by car. The scenery is spectacular. We have many photos of the falls.

Good news, the falls and swimming area is a very short walk, maybe five minutes, from the parking lot. There are rock ledges to sit on if someone needs to rest. Park toward the far back of the lot if possible to make the... More

I believe both were open. We really enjoy the step side of the trail. I think the views of the falls are much prettier. There are quite a few stairs, but there are many places to stop & rest on the way back up if necessary... More

Well we were just there and under the diving board was very deep, well over 8 feet. Shallow end ranged, but fairly quickly went over five feet.
