A must see when near Ithaca. Make sure to stop to see the gorge and waterfall at the visitor center. Expect a lot of construction in the summer months.

Walking around the campus with its attractive buildings, natural waterways and picturesque scenery is a slightly surreal experience. My 19 year old daughter who is at the University of Birmingham in the UK said it didn't seem real in that is was so well manicured...More

It would be good to have a map of the University as it is a very confusing campus. We knew there were gorges through the grounds but were unable to find them. The old buildings we saw were beautiful, but we were unable to identify...More

We walked around the central quad so my husband could take a trip down memory lane and I could see his campus. We stopped in several buildings including some classroom buildings, graduate library and the student union. My favorite part of this campus was the...More

We did the engineering info session. Very informative. We also took the campus tour. We enjoyed it. The campus is huge, so wear good shoes for the walk.

We walked around Cornell University and took in the fantastic scenery, beautifully hidden paths and a great amount of history. Such a lovely campus!

Attended a couple of summer courses at Cornell, wonderful location, great walks through the campus, many nice quiet spots to chill out when not in class. Great experience.

Cornell has a beautiful campus. Plenty of great views and fantastic shopping at the Cornell Store. Check out the dairy shop to get some fresh made ice cream or yoghurt.

An absolutely stunning campus. My kids were awestruck by the buildings, the views, and the gorges. A great walk on a beautiful day.

Went for a reunion and was amazed at all the new buildings on campus. The campus is huge and the university seems to offer anything at all as a course of study. Caveat: Ithaca weather is often cloudy and damp--though not for our June reunion!

The campus is open to the public. Some building may be closed during the summer months. Ask at the central library and students office.

Sign up for a tour. They are student led and you will learn some interesting facts that otherwise you wouldn't have known. The students do a fantastic job and then you can revisit other areas, ask questions and head out on... More
