It was easy to find her grave once we actually had a map and daylight. There are 6 entrances to this larger-than-it-appears, cemetery. Her gravesite, along with those of other relatives, are well-maintained and easily accessible.

This cemetery is a step into history. Established in 1848, it was Jamestown's third established cemetery. The founding fathers of Prendergast, Foote and Fenton are all buried here. As well as Jamestown's favorite comedian Lucille Ball. There are Lucy logos on the pavement to mark...More

Visiting grave of Lucille Ball. Location is easiest to find if you enter at the Buffalo Street gate at Prendergast Avenue.

We decided to bring our grandchildren on this particular walk so we could share what we had learned from a previous cemetery tour. I think it was worthwhile for them to know that just as Gettysburg, and DC have historical significance, since we visited both...More

Great place to go for an early evening walk. Quiet, peaceful and mostly alone when you stroll thru the cemetery. Some wonderful memorials to deceased loved ones especially those overdone Victorian era examples. Overall, a nice place to visit but I'm not ready for a...More

The cemetery in its self is very large,It was a little hard to find the grave site but once we found the hearts painted on the road then it led right to the site.It would be hard to see under leaves or snow.

Some of Lucy's ashes are buried here in the Hunt family plot. I kind of expected something larger or more grand. Easy to find once you follow the hearts on the road in the cemetery,

Must take time to visit the cemetery once you have visited the studio museums and her birth place. Watch for hearts painted on road, we were looking for hearts as a sign until we finally noticed them, needs to be repainted.

Growing up in the area I had the opportunity to view the cemetery often and explore all the historical figures buried here. The grounds are kept in top shape!

I googled the location and the best way to access and found very specific directions. The entrance on the far end from the hotel has the main building and there are hearts on the pavement leading you directly to Lucy's grave. It was easy to...More
