Well maintained, colorful horses and clean. Always enjoy riding the carousel and remembering my childhood playing at the park.

This is one of the biggest carousel in the Broome county. And it is free. They run this during summer holidays, noon to about 8 pm. This is also in a park where there are water fountains for kids to play in, swings, slides etc. Nice place for a summer picnic.

Thanks for the carousel experience! We came to town to ride all the carousels (sadly 1 of the 6 is not running this summer) Another wonderful ride! This is a great legacy for the Johnson family, I hope these carousels are as appreciated by the locals as the people who seek out carousels. Free for everyone. Joy and delight.

who doesn't like a carousel? this has been around for YEAR's and one of the last things you can do for free. if you find yourself getting off the highway and need a quick break to occupy the kids for a a minute, pull into this little park. this is history for this town, may you keep the carousel running.... The carousel was not open during the day when we planned to visit. But, we notched it was open later on our way to dinner, but didn't have time to stop by. That was disappointing. But it looked very nice!

This is one of the several vintage carousels that we are lucky enough to have in our area through the philanthropy of the Johnson family, owners of many Endicott-Johnson Shoe factories. It is one of the largest ones and is very well maintained in a lovely park in Johnson City, near Binghamton, NY. It is usually open from Memorial Day... More

We are blessed to have so many beautiful carousels in our area but this one, for some reason, is my favorite. The parks crew keeps things clean and in good shape. It takes you back to a simpler time riding your hand selected stallion and having your child smile ear to ear makes it all the better. Kudos JC!

This was the highlight of our 1 day in this area! HIGHLY recommend this! We are a couple in our mid-60's and thought it was great! Free, well-run and fun!

We were on a mission to ride all six antique carousels in the Binghamton area, however, were only able to ride three due to time constraints. This carousel is the largest of the six. It has beautiful carved horses to ride with lovely music, but no chariots for adults to ride. The staff were very courteous and helped me with... More
