This is an intriguing and interesting place, in the middle of a very nice forest. Seeing the place out of activity nowadays, it can be hard to figure how relevant it was for the local economy and generations of workers and families living here. This is a fascinating place to visit. There is a video at the start of the visit, which is very good. Unfortunately formmy friends, I didn't finnd the English language version. Lots to see here.

driven past many a time, but with another cloudy day forecast thought we would give it a go. Managed to keep everyone interested for an hour or so, a good insight to the 1800s in an impressive setting. Very interesting visit to this ancient village. Provided with a paper guide written in English which was very useful. I understand on Sundays you can get an English guided tour as well, which would be helpful. Think they are missing out not having a coffee or gift shop. I'm sure this would be well used and would help generate some... More
