We didn't have much time, so we only went there to see the main part of the gorge, didn't go on any of the trails. We took a grand taxi from Tinghir (15km from the gorge) and spent 8dh each, very cheap. We stayed there for less than an hour and then took another taxi back to Tinghir (8dh each,... More

You cannot miss this if visiting Morocco. The drive to the Gorge through the Kasbahs and then the Gorge itself with flowing water is just spectacular!

The gorge is nice, the guides typically let you out to walk along the stream, but the main part is quite short and really not all that spectacular. If faced with the situation of picking between this and longer and more spectacular Dades Gorge, I would pick the latter.

Our driver got us here as part of movement plan even as I had dades gorges on mind as well . However our champ convinced us that dades is not so hot ( do not believe so ) and instead made us do some touristy circuit by superfluous halts all along the way. Eg a well area ..some high point... More

We drove up from town and stopped at several places. The gorge is great, and it was nice to just hang out there, as there are mountain people coming down to get drinking water.

So worth a visit. It doesn't matter what your level of fitness the gorge has it all. Fairly level walks for the unadventurous, goat tracks hugging the rocky walls, sheer rock faces for the mountaineers amongst us. We chose the rocky Gorge trek which took about 6 hours and was about 7 miles. A moderate trek which gave some amazing... More

This place is worth taking a few days to explore. You can rock climb, go on hikes with amazing views, hang out in the high country with nomads, or just sit by the river and enjoy trying to communicate with the friendly ladies doing their laundry. The village has a 500 year old Kasbah and the proud local people will... More

Nice hike starting from Auberge Le Festival and took us 3 hours. Beatiful views. The only moment during our 2 week Morocco trip that we felt we were all on our own discovering a place as the only people we met during the hike were a berber family at their tent. Make sure you don't miss the little natural source... More

this Gorge is beautiful with dramatic views but visit early in the day as it gets busy with tourists.
