Absolute highlight of our visit - bobsled ride expensive for only 40 seconds or so, bit worth every cent - what a thrill!!! Cost was discounted 20% with the Olympic passport, a must for huge cost savings is you plan on visiting all the winter...More

My family and I were recently able to take a "back stage tour" of the olympic bobsled complex with the current world champion, who is a family friend and former neighbor. We had a fantastic time walking down some of the track and hearing about...More

We enjoyed a quick visit to the bobsled and luge complex. Unfortunately, we visited on a day when the bobsled experience was not available (which my husband was hoping to splurge on). We took the short bus ride to the top of the combined track,...More

My wife and I took the bobsled ride when we were here. Yes its pricey for about a one minute ride, but its worth it. Its a once in a life time thing and something that you should do on your Lake Placid trip.

Did the bobsled run. What a blast and worth the price. I suggest getting the Olympic passport to save money for the bobsled and visiting the sites. The run was less than a minute but how often do you get to go on a bobsled.

Apart from the novelty of simply getting a view of the bobsled tracks, which you can get from the parking lot without ever going in, this was a complete waste of time. The place was empty and we chose to take the "self-guided tour," which...More

I believe it's year round, although switches from the one we did on wheels in the concrete track to the bobsled on ice for the winter.
