My husband and I stopped at the Bobsled and Luge Complex while on our honeymoon. Team USA members were practicing and the Complex let us up to watch for free. It wasn't busy at all, save for what looked like just family members cheering on their athletes. It was very cool to watch these athletes complete their runs, attempting to... More

It costs about $90 and it only lasts about a minute...but at least you can always tell your friends you rode a real bobsled down a real Olympic Bobsled track. They use a modified sled that has 3 pax ,a driver ,of course and a brakeman, thank heaven.

My husband and I on separate occasions have done the bobsled run and it is well worth the cost of risking your life and a chunk of your pay check to take a ride. It is very quickly over but where else in the world can you take a ride down an Olympic track.

Probably next of attraction that could be seen in certain period - winter. You don't see bobsley, you can't try. No explanation or guidness about object, technic etc. Very old, not trying to refresh it. Better impression in tv.

I called them in advance to see what they offer. Unfortunately, the bobsled was not available without appointment, and the next opening was in three days. They told me that I can visit the place and see the training.

I'd really recommend spending the money on the ride, it's a lot of fun. It's super well organised and every is very smooth from geting dropped off to finishing the ride. Just wish for how expensive it was that it lasted longer. Can't fault the operation though, incredible. Staff were super!

There are so few places in the world to see a bobsled course in person, so it felt like we had to check it out while we were in Lake Placid. You can pay $80 or $90 per person to ride in the sled (for 48 seconds), or you can pay $4 each to walk around the grounds, and get... More

You can visit this complex without doing a luge or bobsled run. Nonetheless, the bobsled run is a fun experience. It is fast, and you do make some of those transitions (up and down and back again, quickly) you have seen watching the Olympics but you are with an experienced driver and break man. It is a tad pricey but... More

We have visited Lake Placid before and on that trip we experience the bobsled run. This is the reason for the return. So exhilarating!!! I think everyone MUST do it!!
