Really interesting bit of American Industrial history. With a cool walk through some natural and man made caves and short boat ride. Also you will probably get to watch a boat going though the locks.

Interesting facts about businesses that started in the area. Our guide, Brody was personable and took care to keep everyone safe on the tour. There needs to be better lighting inside the cave in the walking section.
Would’ve liked More focus on the locks and how that system operates

There was a walking tour down by the Erie canal where we were told some of the history of the canal and town, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed this! We even got to watch a boat go through a lock.

The history of the underground cave & boat ride was also great! I'm not sure if it was mentioned (and it could have been bc we had rain the previous night) but the cave did have some water dripping down in places. It wasn't a lot but you may want to bring something with a hood lol

Overall, we both enjoyed this experience!

So my wife loves caves and this tour did not let us down. Actually most of the tour is a walking tour around the town of Lockport. Rachel was a great tour guide and even though she was still "learning", she did a great job. The tour takes you down to the locks and by the Erie Canal. You will learn about the boom of the town in the industrial revolution and the history of the cave. Then you walk up an old drainage pipe that used to actually be used when the "cave" was active and in use. Take this tour!

This was a total waste of time and money. The employee at the office entrance was unfriendly and grumpy. The tour was just a walk along the hillside listening to a tour guide drone on about something so boring we didn't know what he was talking about. The 10 minute boat ride was the high point and even it wasn't great. I can't believe all the good reviews. Don't waste your money.

We took the free shuttle from Niagara to Lockport to explore Lockport.

We made our reservations while on our way to the cave because we didn’t know what our schedules were going to be.

It was a great tour to do on a steamy day. It was history based and had some interesting trivia nuggets.

Perfect outing for a hot summer day! 3 local history buffs here. Our tour guide, Kat, was wonderful. Knowledgeable, interesting, funny, and engaging. A credit to the tourism industry! We enjoyed everything about our tour. Be sure to make reservations.

Combo of walking in cave and then ending tour in small boat to see budding rock formations. Good fun, friendly service from all staff. Great historical background of name who invented the fire hydrant. Year round 60 degrees.
