There is something for everyone here, playgrounds, water sprinklers for those unbearably hot days, basketball courts, a soccer field, a volleyball court a dog park and plenty of places to grab food or just sit back with a drink. The ferry is located in the park so it is a very easy trip to and from. Cant go wrong spending... More

The view of Manhattan East Side is magnificent, and you can see up and doown the East River all the way from the Brooklyn Bridge to Harlem RIver bridge. It is peaceful, serene, nicelylandscaped, and easy to access via NY Waterway Ferry or 7 train. Great place to spend a sunny afternoon, plenty of fine dining and easy food nearby.... More

Such a great view of Manhattan! You get to see a lot of building as well as enjoy the view looking back as well. The park is nicely set up to enjoy long walks here or if you want to sit and take in the views. They have a kids park so they can play as well!

This is a beautiful place in LIC on the East river to be outdoor and enjoy the breathtaking view of NYC. I have watched many sunsets on the backdrops of Manhattan skyline. Plenty of park benches to sit and relax or simply stroll down the walkways, lots of kid activities. One of my favorite places for photography. It's only few... More

Such a variety of people, beautiful views, lots of kids playing in the playgrounds. Felt like I was a part of Queens, while I learned a little history and enjoyed the Manhattan skyline views.

I was here on a somewhat cold February morning, so there were not many visitors besides the occasional runner or parents pushing strollers, so I can't say what it would be like in the summer, but I imagine it would be even better. The views of the skyline are spectacular, and of the bridge as well. When I was atop... More

The park has something for everyone! Playgrounds, chess tables, lounging chairs, benches... and the BEST VIEWS OF NYC! I love walking the paths, kids go sledding there when it snows, just a good place if you want peace and views that go for miles
