A nice quiet place to go walk around and explore the coastal area with a beautiful drive on the way out to it.

Free parking after 4 but the light house is closed. For two people that will save you 30 dollars. Sunsets are beautiful from that location.

We walked down to the water and watched some surfers. Then we walked on the rocks all the way around the point. What views!! The water was rough and oh so beautiful!

It was cold when we got there. There's a playground for little kids. Not much to do besides the lighthouse. Only some meager trails. $10/person seemed pretty steep to walk up to the top of the lighthouse (no pun intended). (Also $8 parking.)

My husband and I decided to visit this state park to give our dogs some fresh air. While pets aren't allowed on/in the actual lighthouse and grounds, they are allowed on the trails and on the beach, as long as they're leashed. We hiked the...More

Went to Montauk State Park only to find a sign that said, “beware of guard dog” and closed. This was after a 2 hour drive during a weekday (Wednesday at noon)
