We went to the Mohonk Preserve to swim. There's a waterfall and the water goes down between two small cliffs, hence the name Split rock, into a shallow pond. It is surrounded by trees and looks very picturesque. There are a number of large, flat...More

Despite getting lost a few times we had a wonderful time hiking up to this peak. Great view. I just wish the trail was a little better marked.

5 1/2 hours of hiking with different levels of hiking. If you want a stroll then there are trails for you. If you want to rough it then there are trails for you as well. Will hike again soon.

It is fairly tight--but it's not so much a matter of fitting as it is maneuvering out. if you're hesitant have a companion go first to give you a hand.
