Great winery! I loved the wine. It is less crowded compared to other wineries in the area. I loved the inside it is a cute place inside an old barn. I would return for more wine! The staff was very nice and personable who did our tasting!

I was not expecting much given the outside. However, the inside is beautiful. The service was great and the staff were very attentive. I did not like any wines but I am very picky. The pumpkin bread was yummy. There are no stunning views but the place is very homey.

We've been enjoying our trip through the Shawangunk Wine Trail: we've met some great owners / wine makers and have enjoyed some really good wines. Adair is an above average winery with some good wines and a great location. We hit them late on a Sunday afternoon, the gentlemen behind the the tasting bar was friendly, but maybe it was... More

This Vineyard is quaint and not crowded. They have fewer wine choices and less fanfare than some of the other wineries in the area, but in my opinion, they have some of the better wines. Two of my summertime favorites are Nectarine Kir (white) and Black Currant Kir (red). The Mountain Red is also an excellent choice. If you're looking... More

The locations is great, charming barn with tastings held upstairs and a nice lawn with picnic tables to enjoy purchased bottles at. The tasting room is large but the bar is on the smaller side especially with the amount of people who were there. It's a $5 tasting for 4 wines and you get a souvenir glass. I wasn't too... More

I went on a Sunday with a friend....the drive is very nice as there are many other wineries close by and its scenic.....I was not impressed as the wine selection were only 4. You pay $5 for a taste of the 4 selections....and the wines were not that great....more on the sweet side...the grounds were by a brook which contained... More

Adair has a beautiful location and a true commitment to quality seasonal wines. They produce a wide variety of wines but have a limited number for sale and tasting at any given time because they produce smaller batches utilizing seasonal produce. They have several rather nice clean whites ranging in dryness as well as several reds and more seasonal fruit... More

Part of the Shawangunk Mountains wine tasting tour, Adair Vinyards is a 10 acre vinyard on the outskirts of New Paltz, New York. A 200 year old barn holds the tasting rooom and gift shop. The gift shop and tasting room is in a converted hay loft upstairs while the manufacturing takes place on the ground floor level. The wines... More
