Devils Hole gives the hardy the ability to walk right down to the water's edge of the Lower Niagara River. It is a hike, so wear comfortable shoes, but it is so worth it.
my old trout and salmon fishing spot is at the bottom off the devil's hole trail. site derives it's name from a small cave on the trail. at this spot a small battle was fought during the french and indiann war. Cool reading for history...More
Great gorge and lower river views! If you plan to walk the trail down to the Niagara River, make sure you allow enough time to take breaks each way, but especially on the way back up. It is a longer walk than it looks from...More

This park has a lot to offer. It is well laid out with great trails, scenic overlooks and a wonderful visitors centre. Wear comfortable shoes and do not forget your camera.
Devil's Hole is great for hiking. It's an average strenuous level of hiking. The scenery is beautiful. Great for trail running. If you are visiting the falls definitely check out Devil's Hole.

It's a beautiful place to hike. We loved visiting in Autumn and look forward to visiting in other seasons as well. You should be careful if you have small children and if you're not really steady on your feet if you do the hike.
