You get to Bridal Falls on Goat Island. Does not cost to get on the island, but it is $10 for parking, which isn't bad! The island itself is very walk able for most people. There are restrooms and a concession stand near the Cave of the Wind attraction. I would suggest a water bottle and comfortable walking shoes along with a camera!
Bridal Falls maybe the smallest of the 3 but it is still amazing the strength f which it flows.

Went to see these falls on our first day at Niagara. Beautiful. Last time I was here was 45 yrs ago as a young child. In awe to see it now with my teen. Remember there being caves in the mountain, which sadly are no longer inhabitable. Nonetheless, lovely.

5/5 - Walked over to Bridal Falls from Goat island (Niagara Falls state park). Easy walk and nice to park at one place to get to all 3 falls (Horseshoe, Bridal & American). Also, can view all 3 from observation area.

OK after the construction is finish i'm sure it will be beautiful, however currently almost all the good viewing spots on goat island in Niagara falls state park are fence off for construction. Views are obstructed. their is no warnings online about the massive construction projects and they still have the nerve to charge for parking went you can't even see anything currently! this weekend was opening weekend for the falls and they mite as well just shut down in till all these projects are done!

The Bridal Veil Falls is the smallest of all the 3 falls but is very cute and unique. It is situated just a little to the right of the American Falls and can be viewed from several places on the NY side as well as the Canadian side.

The Bridal Veil Falls are as very pretty sight, viewed from either the American side of the river or the Canadian. However, please know that they are simply a part of the larger American Falls rather than a completely separate waterfall. You can actually walk right up to the top of the Falls from either Goat Island or from the observation platform which, granted, is the "longer" view. It really is quite mesmerizing!

Although you can see Bridal Veil Falls from the Canadian side, I really enjoyed the experience of standing right over top of the falls and looking down. It was fun to watch the visitors to Cave of the Winds standing on the deck under the falls and getting drenched while trying to get their picture taken. They were all laughing and having so much fun while the water just poured on them. We also found the American side less crowded than the Canadian side, and we really liked all of Goat Island.
To view the falls is free on the American side, but it's about $10 for parking. The food and water is expensive, so bring your own if you are on a budget.

This visit brought back memories of visiting with my parents as a kid 55 years ago. The power and force of the water there is just amazing. So many gallons moving so fast and heading down the falls.

Yet another angle and another amazing site to see this spectacular but of nature. The power of the rushing waters alone is something to see.

I love everything about Niagara Falls. I love the platform on the American side that allows you to know see the American Falls, especially Bridal Veil.

My husband had back surgery a month ago so I’m wondering if there are a lot of steps to climb?

As mentioned below, stay on the main path and no steps/stairs. Otherwise there are at few but doable.

Is there enough time to do fall activities at Attitash and Wildcat in one day?
Written 8 October 2015
That had been my original plan. But we arrived late and had only the afternoon. My son had time to do everything at Attitash once (including the zip line) between 12:30 and 4. We also ate lunch during that time. If we had a full day, we could have repeated some activities. I would have been too exhausted to do anything a second time though! I imagine there are lines and waiting during the summer. We had none of those in late September.

We are 4 ladies traveling together and would need 2 rooms with 2 beds in each. Is that doable or are all your rooms with one bed only?
Written 10 February 2015
There are tons of hotels there. We stayed on the Canadian side and it was beautiful. The saying goes "you play on the American side and stay on the Canadian side". I'm sure you will have no trouble finding a room with two queen sized beds
