Follow this trail down into the gorge carved by the Niagara river. Thundering rapids, amazing colors in the fall, and lots of things to see.

Sandals will work, but sneakers are better. Bring a small backpack for water and snacks, especially in the Summer. Parts of the trail are narrow and you will do some minor rock climbing. The landscape invites you to take a closer look, but stay on...More

Gorgeous views from within the gorge, right along the Niagara River. You can see some of Horseshoe Falls in the distance framed underneath Rainbow Bridge. You also get great views as you cross under the Whirlpool Bridges. The river is an emerald color, so beautiful....More

An Amazing trail as it is. This trail is made up of smaller trail sections that is parallel to Niagara river. It is truly a chance to explore geological history and wildlife in one location. It is not advisable to hike alone.

Once you've seen the cascading waters of Niagara, which are equally as beautiful from either side of the border, try this trail out. You'll get an amazing view, up close sounds and smells of the water and foliage, and no people noise. The throngs of...More

You have confuse me with saying "on the Canadian Side" while others say on the American. Please tell me you may talk about the Canadian Whitewater Walk? I like to know for both Trails as well as other Attraktions how much time I should calculate and how to find the start Point from both Sides and is their Public Transportation (maybe the Trolley or WEGO) nearby?

We visited Niagara Falls in November so some of the attractions, such as Whitewater Walk and Whirlpool Aero Car, were closed. Because we went in the off-season, the WEGO bus was not running as frequently and I think some of... More

What ages do you think would be able to do this? The main site says "all ages" but some of the comments here seem to say it's not for little kids. Additionally, is there a way to do only a portion of the hike and still see anything? Like, turn around when the kids (7,5,3) get bored or tired? How long is the hike? Is it loop or straight?
