The tower is a new addition since my last visit to N.F. and a very welcome one at that. Great photogenic views from the end of the tower that juts out over the water to give a great angle to see American Falls.

Check it!! Worth the visit. Thrilling. Went with colleagues from Germany. Lots of water. Some of it was falling. Cold. Chilly. Expensive maple syrup.

We were there early April 2018 and the tower was free of charge. It was cold, but the views were amazing. I am not sure I would have been so thrilled if we had to pay as similar views are available for free.

The tower is open and free of charge in March. It provided a great view of both falls and a good photo spot.

I couldn't believe it was free to go on this. At least it was today. You can almost see all of the horseshoe falls at the end as and gives a great view of the American falls. You won't regret it.

The Tower is okay but doesn't really add much to the visit to the Falls. I was there in March so it was winter conditions.

Another great way to see the falls! The views from the observation tower just give another prospective. Good view of the Canadian skyline! Just another great part of the Niagara Falls experience.

During December there was no queue and also no entrance fee, but you could not use the lift. Still good spot for photos.

Its great tower to see the falls from above a height. Good for taking photos but you can totally skip going here if shortage of time.

The tower was really high up , and you have a great view of the falls. The only issue is the cracked cement under your feet YIKES! But over all it’s nice

No, tickets are purchased at the tower no need for advanced purchase. If there happens to be a line it will be just a few people. Never have I experienced a crowd.

The nice folks at the State Park (716-278-1796) could tell you for sure, but I doubt it. It's part of the Maid of the Mist ticket, which definitely does not allow dogs. I'm not sure if you can buy an observation-tower only... More

There's no need for a passport unless you wish to cross the bridge into Canada. All of the falls can be viewed from the American side.
