We stopped here on the way to Honfleur as the first stop on a 19 day visit to France. The parking was not great - badly laid out, cramped, tight spaces. We were in a camper van and struggled to get parked and came away...More

I visited etretat in the summer of 2017 with my friends. On top of the elephants there is a really nice view over the ocean and the village.

Yes, the view is breathtaking. Sure, spend some time on the cliff just looking down and soaking in the beauty (and maybe a picnic). There is a food cart (very cute - see pic) at top of cliff next to restrooms. This was a favorite...More

On our 10 day trip from Cherbourg to Calais, we were told this was a "must do" place if in the area. We were there on Saturday, June 10, 2017, on a warm, sunny, clear day therefore it was rather crowded. We had to park...More

This place is simply beautiful. Hike up the trails on the cliffs and/or hit the rocky beach at low tide and go through the cave to the other side.

Seeing these cliffs in person was breathtakingly inspirational. I could envision Monet sitting on the beach painting the cliffs. Incredible experience.

This was just a short stop on our way further south. But well worth it. The view is spectacular. The town isn't all that interesting and the food is pricy, but do swing by anyway.

This is the second time we have walked this having done it on a previous visit. Make sure you have good shoes for walking.

Wonderful to see in different lights - also doing the coastal walk to see it from different angles. We walked up both sides of Etretat bay one side to the gardens and the other side over the cliff walks.

The scenery is absolutely stunning, plain & simple. If you don't appreciate that, don't come here, & if you do & you're anywhere near don't miss it. It's a bit of a hike up a steep walk way, but more than worth it in my...More

The view is free. If you drive up to view it from the church overlook, parking is free. If you view it from the beach, there is free visitor's parking at the beach as well.

Hello Melissa, No need to book for a tour or anything, just find a way to be there and that's it. It's a very small village/city/ suburb (don't know exactly what to call it. other than the Falaises, it's only couple of... More
