The seneca park zoo is a great entry level zoo. Younger children will greatly enjoy. The animals are older. Not all animals are present such as giraffes. It is a small intimate zoo. No animal human interaction as other larger zoo's. They do have food stands and seating. Off street parking. On very warm days most of the animals will... More

Great place to bring the kids and grandkids It is a very nice, clean, well-maintained zoo. The animal environments are large and as natural as they can be at a zoo. Food choices aren't the greatest. I'd say pack your own.

We have a membership which makes us inclined to go often. The grandchildren love going. There's something a little different every time. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. It's a nice size zoo that you can see entirely in one visit.

The Seneca Park Zoo is a great asset for the Rochester area. The zoo has changed its' philosophy over the years and has adapted to the times. The new display areas give the animals much more room and provide more natural habitat to live in. Would definitely recommend.

The animals are very well taken care of. The elephants have their nails treated every week. A curate walks around and answers questions. They have already or are expanding all of their enclosures. A peaceful place to just walk around even by yourself. Great for kids. Not so big of an area that you can't just go and relax. The... More

Great place to take kids all times of the year! My kids always have a great time here. The animals are always doing different things each time we visit. some are out so are in making each visit different. The feedings are always fun to watch and the staff is full of interesting information my kids just eat up!

Another local attraction, this zoo is amazing. They treat the animals very well and are always expanding. There are a few interactive exhibits for kids but it's a great place for the whole family. Every once in a while they have something called zoo brew for adults only. It's exactly what it sounds like. Highly recommend!

This Zoo in Rochester Ny has a nice long property lay out. Several key animals including Tigers, wolves, polar bear, lions, rhino, and elephants with a large assortment of small and large monkey varieties. There are a couple places to eat, and some playground equiptment around the zoo. There were zoo personel around every exhibit eager to talk and share... More

We love this zoo and our kids loved going there while growing up in Rochester. It's not a huge zoo but it's well kept and kids love it.
