Been a while since I have visited the zoo, we went for my hubby's birthday (he picked!). The zoo gets bigger and better all the time. Lovely way to spend a day or a few hours depending on how fast or slow you move through...More

The Secenca Park Zoo is a perfect size for 2 1/2 hours if you are a fan of animals. It's well paved, so taking your kids in strollers works quite well. The snow leopard and otters are worth the visit. The staff is friendly and...More

When I had small children the zoo was a MUST do every few months. Since my family is now grown, we backed off to about once a year. At our last visit we were excited to see new exhibits. The Africa section the zoo still...More

Just a really nice zoo; the people are very helpful and eager to share their knowledge. The exhibits are well-planned. Really love watching the seals and the polar bear underwater.

Seneca Park Zoo has always been one of those "there isn't anything else to do with the kids, let's go to the zoo" trips. It has never really been a destination, due to there being nothing to interact with there. It is a nice walk...More

We spent one afternoon at the Seneca Park Zoo and had a wonderful time. It was handicapped accessible and easy for the whole family to get around. We were especially impressed with all the animals that were on display.

Came here as an impromptu visit while staying in Rochester. I was impressed with the number of animals given the size of the zoo. Most of the animals were out on the day we went and seemed happy. This zoo has a lot of activities...More

Typical small zoo. Nothing special. Went to a Zoo Brew event here. Not planned out well at all. Four of us were very disappointed. But if you're interested in an activity with your child, the zoo (any zoo) is a safe bet. Docents / volunteers...More

Good place for the kids to go. Comfortable picnic area. Has clean restrooms and a nice playground for smaller kids.

Depends on the time of year. This time, it is $12 for an adult, and was $9 for my daughter who is 5. They have a website where they list the pricing and the dates. It's open year round.
