We saw a star show rated for 5-8 yr. old children. It was a good introductory night sky exploration and last about an hour. There were many lined up for a music light show after ours, which we nearly decided to to stay for -...More

The Strasenburgh Planetarium is definitely a gem in Rochester. I think families tend to overlook this place in favor of RMSC (proper) and Strong Museum. There are a variety of shows available. In the past, my husband and I saw one about the Great Barrier...More

A trip to the Stasenburgh planetarium is always enjoyable no matter what age of your guests. My girls love it here and it's always a new experience so do their grandparents.

Not the biggest museum in town, but well appointed and fun for kids 3-12. The gift shop has some cool and unique items. The IMAX theater is the best feature for folks of all ages.

The facility is top of the line Planetarium, pick the right show, some are geared to children some to adults. We learned alot about Jupiter during our visit. Next door to the Science museum so you can combine the trip.

A theater in the round with comfortable seats with audio. Best place to see the stars shows. You can also view the stars through the telescope. Check their website for times and details.
