Nice display of poinsettias at the Conservatory, with live Turtles and baby Quails also on display. Approximately 20-30 minutes is ideal time to spend at this site.

Lamberton Conservatory is an excellent display of various ecosystems as they flow from one room to another. Besides all the flowers and plants and cacti, they have just enough animals to keep you on your toes. The turtles are all contained in pits, but there...More

Highland Park is an absolute gem! If you are in Rochester for any reason you should go visit the park. It has hundreds of Lilac Bushes, some planted over 50 years ago. Each year they hold a 10 day festival to honor the Lilacs. It...More

I'm sure there are some very nice plants here (my wife could tell you; she's a plant person), but I was way too enamored with all the animals to pay any attention to them! Little balls of quail were jutting around all over the grounds;...More

The Lamberton Conservatory is an oasis of serenity, beautiful to observe and easy to enjoy. It consists of several separate units of what one might describe as greenhouses, each dedicated to, and replicating, a different climate and inhabited by plants that grow in them. The...More

We recently enjoyed wandering out of the cold in the Lamberton Conservatory. The little quail and turtles provide amusement for young children and the plants are quite beautiful. It is small, but priced appropriately for its size.

My husband, grown daughter and I went to the Conservatory only. It was a raw, rainy mid week day so it was fairly quiet. If you have an appreciation for plants you will enjoy this little treat. The conservatory is quite small but packed with...More

Went there on a snowy Saturday afternoon. Made winter disappear for a little while. Very nice people working there. Some people were there painting, most just walking through. No ne was in a hurry and it was not crowded. The plants are nice, and offer...More

I'm interested in booking the conservatory for a wedding shower. However, I've heard it can get quite smelly in the summer. The shower would be in the beginning of June. Has anyone had a negative experience regarding the smell in the summer?
