Went to see a nationally known blues band there and had a great time. Very nice selection of beer, including local micros. Lovely back garden in which you can sit and enjoy the music under the stars. It's in an old house and has a funky kind of ambiance that I really enjoyed. Very nice staff as well.

Always great and unique music....but watered down well drinks, stingy attitude leaves bad taste. 4 band members didn't have to pay the cover charge to hear themselves but the 2 spouses who carried in the equipment had too. 1 bartender was killing himself to keep up (so yes, slow service) and drinks...even sodas were like water. Poor attitude when asked... More

Great little hidden gem in Rochester. When you roll up, you soon realize it was single family home at some point. The interior is converted to a cool little music venue. Great for seeing some solid touring acts as well as locals. Great beer selection. Quirky in a great way.

A trip to Rochester is always better with an evening at Abeline's. The casual atmosphere of the outdoor music deck makes it a great place to interact with the bands and meet and make friends. How could you resist a gorgeous summer evening of live music under the stars?

Abilene is where some of the best artists in or coming to Rochester play. It's hidden away on Liberty Pole Way with not much else around it - except a fire station and some ghetto club. But it is totally worth the trip every time. Beer list is excellent, house drinks are great and the music - well, it's what... More

I went to the Abilene to hear a group play, which was OK. The bar itself is rather plain, although it does have a devoted local following of patrons. There are a couple of table set up inside, but I would never got there for anything else but drinks. (That's why most people go, as the bar itself is very... More
