The race course grounds are huge and very busy. We're not big betters but we liked seeing the horses before the race, the jockeys mounting their horses and of course the race itself. I finally made a bet and won. Fun!

I have never seen so many people jammed into an event. People had chairs, table, food, coolers set up In every open space. Real party place. You can bring in your own coolers and food. A good thing as the food and drinks were expensive....More

First I'll just say that I wish you luck with that. The gates will open at like 730am for the "picnic table dash" so I'd suggest you get there before then. I know people that will line up at the gate at 530am.

no - row A is perfectly fine. all of the clubhouse and grandstand seats are elevated above the crowd.
