This famed 350-acre racetrack features thoroughbred horseracing during its six-week season from late July through early September. Though one of the sport's premier events, the races often take second place to people-watching.

Even if you don't win betting on races, you will still have a great day! Its history is interesting; having visited the track many times with grandparents and parents 40 plus years ago, I have lots of memories. Of course, there are modern additions but...More

What an awesome facility! You feel like you just shot back in time walking around the grounds. Huge trees with plenty of picnic tables for families. Great food, great drinks and great times!

old and worn but try to appreciate it from a historical perspective. Can be expensive to try and gain luxury box seats, but picnic area, grandstand, and some clubhouse seats affordable.

This is my favorite racetrack by far! The feel you get upon walking through the gates is hard to compare to any other track I've been to. This is the history of horse racing! Take the time to tour the entire property.

My grandparents have brought me here since I was a little kid and its one of the most amazing places I've ever been. Everything about it is beautiful and well kept. The architecture is absolutely amazing and the races are too.

The track is more than just betting. If done right, it can be a very fun time with a group of people. Watching the jockeys bring out the horses, looking to see which horse is ready to race, betting something small on a few horses,...More

In my experience you need to get there by 7am or earlier to set up your chairs or reserve any spot...really do not expect to get any comfortable seating or grass if you show up at 11, sorry!
