This famed 350-acre racetrack features thoroughbred horseracing during its six-week season from late July through early September. Though one of the sport's premier events, the races often take second place to people-watching.

The historic race track has something for everyone. The updates to the facility itself are very smart and take away nothing from the history of the track. Whether you are a horse gambler or not, you will have a great time. Lots of food and...More

While there weren't any races on the track while we were there, we did see some horses around and back on the smaller track. The race course is beautiful and they've kept a lot of history in tact. I have family members who go to...More

We make the trip every year to this race course. It's my absolute favorite, I love how they embrace the history of the track but still keep it comfortable for all the visitors. Backyard is the perfect spot for enjoying the races and a picnic...More

Surely the most beautiful race course in the country. Attention to detail in looking after it is a lesson for us all. Lovely people too.

We glimpsed it as we were traveling around. Will make it a stop during track season. Easy to get to, lots of signs.

Took the tour to the paddocks and got to see the "behind the scenes" picture of jockeys and their horses. Had an early breakfast at the track and watched the jockeys exercise their horses before the big race! (Saratoga secret)

Very nice Race Track. Had a great time betting on horses and getting the feel of the place. Everything you could want for a little recreation, nice parking lot with a bus that picks you up. Good eating at the special stands set up.

We have not been too many race courses. Experience at this race course was very good. People were relaxed, friendly and there were no lineups for betting. We enjoyed our afternoon and evening at the race course.

Upset with TripAdvisor and Saratoga race course. TA shows this venue is "open now" with hours 9 am - 8 pm. The reality is when the race meet ends this track is shuttered, no access. This would have been handy information before a two hour...More

First I'll just say that I wish you luck with that. The gates will open at like 730am for the "picnic table dash" so I'd suggest you get there before then. I know people that will line up at the gate at 530am.
