We were here on a bus tour. We took the Judge Ben Wiles boat tour of the lake. The captain was very knowlegeable, humorous and pointed out several areas of interest. This lake is crystal clear and is the water supply for Syracuse. The town...More

My husband and I walked around Skaneateles after we had dinner. It is a delightful area and I enjoyed stopping in the stores as well as walking by the lake.

Skaneateles Lake is a wonderful spot for shopping, walking, lunch and having fun on a summer afternoon. Today was a boat ride on the lake and lunch at Doug's Fish Fry. LOTS of shopping. Overall, a great place to spend a summer afternoon.

I enjoyed swimming in the clear water at the town park. The parks were nice and offered great views of the lake. The town was full of interesting shops and restaurants.

Sitting on the benches near the boat area was very relaxing just watching the people. It was very beautiful and enjoyed it very much.

Everyone has answered the parking question. Sherwood Inn is nice for lunch also and you can sit on the porch and view the lake. They have a tavern menu also. I don't think the boats are running now, but check with them... More
