Rather than the pretty vision if Soutth Street these drawings and other artistic renderings show a picture of the waterfront as the maritime world changed with realistic renderings of derelict hulks among the images of a byegone era

Every November this museum sponsors a combined fine art auction and cocktail party that is as splendid as their permanent and changing exhibits, gift shop and children's & adult educational experiences. Go visit: It's a gem of a sail.

This is a charming and engaging museum featuring the art and collectibles of a very interesting man. The exhibit of his house boat apartment and studio is a real show piece. This museum makes for a pleasant and quiet diversion and it's worth a visit.
