CHoose to hold a small party to celebrate a second wedding reception. The staff at the Noble Maritime were extremely knowledgeable about party planning and the museum was impeccable, the guests were pleasantly surprised you could check out the collection during the party..Highly recommended for a small gathering in a unique setting.

This museum is in a beautiful building in SNUG Harbor. We need to ring the bell at the main door and a volunteer comes and opens the door and he will be kind enough to take us round and explain to us . The exhibits are neatly arranged and we will get the booklet showing and explaining the arte facts.... More

We stopped by the Noble Maritime collection in our wandering around Snug Harbor. It was a beautiful coll cation of art and maritime artifacts. On the 3rd Sundaynof every month there is a group of musicians that gather to sing sailor songs. It was an awesome coincidence for us to show up on that day close to that time, and... More

We went with our daughter to historic Snug Harbor and visited the Noble Maritime Collection. Beautiful building with galleries and exhibitions, library, print studios, and a museum shop. They also offer classes for school groups, workshops, boat trips, etc. We spent several hours here and could have stayed longer. It wasn't crowded and there was lots to see and read.... More

In addition to Noble's art works they also have his studio on display. The studio is part of the cabin of one of a derelict boats and is give insight into... More

This is a charming and engaging museum featuring the art and collectibles of a very interesting man. The exhibit of his house boat apartment and studio is a real show piece. This museum makes for a pleasant and quiet diversion and it's worth a visit.

The staff at the visitor center of the Snug Harbor Cultural Center told us about this museum and that it was free. We were spending the day in Staten Island and wanted to see as many sites we could. I am not a huge museum or art lover but I can appreciate great work when I see it. Beauty is... More

This museum is a hidden gem. There is a lot to learn about the history of Staten Island and this museum really gives you insight into the Staten Island of the past. I took my class here a few times and they really kept the students, parents, and myself engaged with the activities they do and the information we learned.
