Fantastic acoustics

Very pretty theatre with phenomenal acoustics. So easy to take the Staten Island Ferry here from Manhattan and then a 5-7 minute walk. So comfortable.

I'd just checked in and I was walking around to explore the area a bit and saw the theater...I crossed the street to see what kind of theater it was and for one night only Chaka Khan was there. (It's a performance space.) I proceeded to the ticket counter to see if tickets were available and when the show was...I'd... More

We went as a group of ten mto this Murder Mystery Dinner which takes place at a "wedding" where we are all guests who have to solve the death of one of the characters. First of all, the food was horrible & practically inedible. Next, the show itself was so, so bad...really stupid & not at all engaging or interesting.... More

Gr8 theater. Comfy orchestra seats. Amazing venue. Its nice places like this still exsist. Its like going back in time when Theaters had atmosphere and decor and ornate design, instead of cookie cutter design with no attention to detail and institutional feel. Watching a production in this setting adds a lot to your experience. Incredible. Put it on your list... More

The show great and the venue was nice. I felt like I was transported back to the 1920's era of fancy movie houses. I will definitely come back for more shows.

We took my granddaughter to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show as she had never had the movie theatre experience. It was wonderful, they even gave us a prop bag. The audience consisted of many in costume and everyone was there to have a good time. The Theatre was decorated appropriatly weird for the show and for Halloween. Everyone knew... More

I'm not sure how many times I will again venture to Staten Island for a concert, but The St George Theatre is a terrific venue for music (as it once was for Hollywood films) with great sight lines and acoustics. The Theatre is presently in the midst of a restoration returning it to its movie palace glamour.

Wow, what a beautifully renovated theatre to come see any show/concert. Most of all the seats are pretty comfortable compared to the Broadway Show Theatres in Times Square. Bathrooms are new and clean but not very large if everyone's nature calls at the same time:-)haha Access for the handicap or physically challenged is adequate but not for the lower orchestra... I read numerous reviews about Price is Right live in vegas and Ny Canada and all were very negative. From the prizes to the way games went. I was hesitant to go but already purchased tickets . The experience was great . the only thing needed to do was sign up to be a possible contestant and you need not... More
