Great place to just walk around and look at the old buildings. It has a great preforming arts department. I have seen numerous productions of Broadway blockbusters and they were all done in a very professional manner. I would recommend checking out one of the Shows. They have a great Art program and a lot of activities for children.

Snug has so much to offer. Whether it's a stroll through a beautifully appointed garden or a trip to a museum, Snug is one of Staten Island's best kept secrets. While some locals use it as a park, many take advantage of the many art-inspired organizations on the campus.

It's not too far a bus ride from the ferry. It was pleasant not a lot in the way of food and easy to get lost but very pretty.

This place shouldn't be missed. Lots of gardens, especially the secret garden by the castle turret with a maze!

Clearly work is still underway here and some areas need a little TLC but we visited on a beautiful day and spent several hours just enjoying the lovely buildings and beautiful grounds. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Popular with locals for dog walking and has a great little cafe

Snug Harbor is a beautiful place to visit with a lot of history. It is very easy to spend the day walking the grounds and exploring the three museums, gardens and two theaters. At one point, a lot of the buildings were going to be destroyed but thankfully a handful were saved. The bus stop is in front of Snug... More
