We went here to see Fats Waller's "Ain't Misbehavin'" last Saturday. It was a wonderful show! The small theater was a perfect place for a review show such as this. Nearly every seat was sold and yet it didn't seem crowded at all. The intimacy of a small theater allows the audience to feel like they are part of the... More

For my birthday, my wife treated me to dinner at Phoebe's and a Friday night showing of "Ain't Misbehaving" at Syracuse Stage. We are regulars during the year and this presentation was fantastic! The Stage always has professional actors, settings and music with a fraction of Broadway show prices. Intermissions allow a quick break for refreshments and to stretch your... More

My family and I just saw Mary Poppins at the Syracuse Stage this past weekend and I have to say.... we were blown away at the quality of the production. First of all, the folks ushering people in were extremely accommodating and friendly. My son was sick so he and my wife could not attend the show. They gave us... More

There were at least 2 theaters here, on the smaller side, but well kept, clean and comfortable seating areas. Sound system was very good. Nice location with a few restaurants close by.

We enjoyed the Storch theater tremendously. It was the perfect setting for the Santaland Diaries. The theater is small, do there is not a bad seat in the house!

There are 2 stages in this venue, both are on the small side. Bar in the lobby. Parking garage available across the street. Several restaurants within walking distance.

We have attended many plays at Syracuse Stage, generally musicals. This time we enjoyed Peter Pan with our granddaughter, which was fantastic! I really love the modernness of the theater. The colored light and sound display outside is intriguing and uplifting. Totally a different feel from Landmark Theater-but we enjoy both theaters. The parking across the street on Irving is... Syracuse Stage has a six or seven play season that follows the school year. Show choices are generally a good mix of high quality contemporary works and old favorites. Where Syracuse Stage excels is in set design. I haven't seen a regional theater that beats them yet for imaginative impact or efficiency of scene transition. Actors are mostly a mix... More
