Taughannock Falls starts with a modest lower falls basin and what used to be swimming hole (now closed and/or being renovated). Above the lower falls basin near the parking area of the park, you'll find flat rock streams and small falls on the river bed...More

We took the dogs and walked the trail. The tall falls are just part of this magical area. A must do when in Ithaca, NY area.

We did not have to go far to see the natural beauty that this area offers. Hikers and trail riders will love this, but we wanted a quick visit to see the falls. A must in the area.
