Just ok. Not value for money.

My wife spent three hours here for a 30 minute manicure. 2 1/2 hours were spent waiting to "settle her debt" after the (OK) service. AFTER tipping the manicurist, she was 3000 TSH short ($1.50) due to an appalling exchange rate. Why are the prices only quoted in dollars to begin with? Though we were staying across the street at... Went for aromatherapy massage with my colleague. The ambience is pleasant and the massage was refreshing. The masseuses were professional and knew their job very well. Customer service could have been better and the rates should have been in Tanzanian shillings since we are Tanzanians and resident. The 5% surcharge on credit card payment was not intimated at time of... More

Ordered a scrub (what I thought would be 60 mins) plus a 60 minute massage. Looked forward to a relaxing 120 mins. After 70 mins I was told it was over. I told my masseuse I thought t was a bit early to be finished and she told me the scrub was only 30 mins. "Ok" I thought "I should... More

I went to the Cinnamon spa for a quick wax during my stay in Zanzibar. I regret choosing Cinnamon spa SO much! :( I chose a half leg, armpit and brazilian wax, it cost me a total of 75$ (including extra charge for using a credit card). This is very expensive, even on European standards. I usually get all that... More

This place is not professional at all and extremely expensive. I got the scrub and massage. The scrub started out okay but at the end she did my underarms and scrubbed so hard my skin came off. She literally burned me with the wash cloth. I had raw patches under my arms for a week and was in constant pain.... More

Last week, I spent the last 2 days with friends in Stone Town! We tried the spa there, "Cinnamon Spa"! We all chose the Sweden massage for body which charged us US$60 for 60 mins but we found that the massage was so weak. I had requested the lady with a stronger power on my shoulders but she said Sweden... More

Compared to competitor Mrembo this place is heavily overpriced. Run by Chinese, the place looks reasonable, the massage is average, the price is ridiculous. I tried a massage in both places and can truly recommend Mrembo!!
