For our first wine tasting experience, Castel Grisch was perfect. The people there were down to earth and went out of their way to give us some really great tips. The place is beautiful and we sat a while enjoying the view. The wines were amazing. We wanted to buy all that we tasted but settled for our 2 favorites.... More

I dont know what to say besides there are a lot more offering around seneca for a wine tasting. Try any winery further north on either side of the lake for a much better experience

this is an attractive location. I was with a tour group and we had our tasting outside on the balcony. It was a lovely warm day and the hostess was accommodating. The huge group did not have to crowd around the small bar but were able to sit at the tables. The hostess conveyed her information well and was pleasant... More

Very nice view, but they advertise a fine dining experience, but they are remolding and only grab and go seemed to be available. Wines were good, unlike some places they did not offer your tasting $$ back off if you perchased wine.

Located at the western side of the Seneca lake, it offers 6 tastes of wines for 5$ which so far was the most expensive of all we visited. There was nothing special there to point out.

We bought a few bottles, and enjoyed the tasting, but overall average of the vineyards that we visited. Still worth a trip from downtown Watkins Glen.

We were touring the area, stopping at wineries, breweries and distilleries. My husband bought a groupon for a tasting for 2 and a cheese fondue. This winery has a nice menu and dining room to enjoy a bite. It is located a few miles off Rte. 14. There are signs for it on 14. We had a choice of a... More

It was still fun, but there were certainly better places for wine. Wish the tasting room looked nicer too.

Castel Grisch has a decent selection of wines to taste, about a dozen in varying degrees of dry and sweet. I believe they are known for their ice wines, but if you are fan of the drier varieties, we really enjoyed the baco noir and the estate reserve, both very reasonably priced. The server was very friendly and informative and... More

The staff was great very welcoming , this was our first winery on the trip tried a few things we like. As all wineries it's what you like to drink. We were looking for summer beach and picnic wines. The Seneca dreams white and Seneca dreams red where great for summer also good for sangria, the staff member suggested trying... More
