Built by Spanish missionaries in 1750, services are still conducted in this little yellow chapel that is considered to be the first church established in the Caribbean.

If you are in the area this is worth a visit. You can take beautiful photos of the chapel with great back drops.

Not much else to say. The chapel built in the 1700 hundreds is quaint but of no great historical or structural interest

Neat little photo op spot. Nice little gift at and and snack spot. We enjoyed drinks and snack. The scenery is breathe taking. Good spot on the way to Ruins and Natural Bridge.

Respect the religious establishment! when we arrived there were plenty of people disturbing the people praying. It is also not appropriate to walk into the chapel with only swimwear. People mourn their ancestors it is not respectable to the local people.

Nice stop for 10 or 15 minutes. There is a Peace Labyrinth behind Chapel for contemplation. There is also a refreshment stand in front. Drove along beach in a Jeep so not sure if there is easier access.

The alto vista chapel is a perfect spot to catch the sunrise in Aruba. The scenic backdrop of the church while the sun is rising is spectacular. Nice pilgrimage site to go for christians to pay their respects for the beauty of the island.

The chapel is a small, rustic structure on the East coast of the island. It is very hot there with little shade. The shoreline is the more wild, undeveloped part and this is on high ground overlooking the sea. There is a delightful meditation area...More
