We rented a two person kayak from Coastal Kayak for one week of our two week stay. The staff was very helpful explaining the differences between all their boats. The actual rental process was very easy and they offered to drop off and pickup at our rental house on the local canals rather than us lugging it back and forth.... More

Went kayaking with grandson, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Took time to make sure teenage grandson was comfortable in the kayak on a windy day with high waves. Took two other teenage grandsons paddle boarding with similar experience. Staff took time to provide quick lesson before letting the boys go on the water.

Jim was our guide Friday morning on a relaxed kayak paddle-tour of Trap Pond and its feeder through the cypress and pine trees for over two hours. Two of us with only one other customer enjoyed a congenial, informative, fun time on a perfect fall day. Delaware State Parks marked the route through the feeder creek, where we saw birds... More

Online the hours posted on their information and trip advisor states open until 6 pm- so we visited to have an enjoyable afternoon of kayaking to be told. "Ugh we actually close at 3 today" when we questioned this we were told oh that's the summer hours- and it's fall now. Technically it's not fall yet and it's 80plus degrees... More

Let's face it, sometimes you're just too afraid to try new things. Like, I've never gone bungee-jumping, because gravity and I, you know, I'd be halfway down there and the bungee cord would snap and the next thing you know there'd be an impact crater and I'd be down near middle Earth. Kayaking's been wisely avoided, too. I mean, I've... More

They demand you sign a total responsibility agreement that also includes full release from them having any liability. In plain English, they will never be at fault for anything that happens (even if it results from their actions, negligence, or inactions). This includes equipment failure. On the other hand, if you don't return the equipment (kayaks) in perfect condition you... More

Dear Travelvel, I am sorry you feel that way. Our release of liability form is something that is required and provided by our insurance company. Our form closely models the form required by the American Canoe Association which is considered the industry standard. I have never known of a reputable company in our industry that did not require the customer... More

Easy to find, folks seem competent, knew their equipment, good at evaluating skill level of customers. Good equipment. Glad to have backrests in the kayaks.

Great location right on the highway across from the Fenwick Island Beach entrance. They had a great variety of kayaks, and SUP, and wind surfers. Customer service was friendly and very informative of the area. Loved seeing the osprey's nests, and some of the bald cypress. Assawoman Bay is HUGE, and we could have easily spent an entire day there... More

Took the Assateague Back Bay Pony kayak tour and had a great time. They were very organized and everyone was very friendly. Out guides were great as well, very knowledgeable about the area. Only wish the horses were out, but that's not their fault! We stayed in North Ocean City and was only a 10 - 15 min drive, very... More

My friend, Deb, and I signed up for the sailing package--2 lessons and 2 rentals--for $185. Both of our instructors, Bob and Josh, were knowledgeable and great instructors. Their styles are a bit different, but we learned from both. We still have a lot to learn, but we learned enough to go out in the Hobie Cat alone on the... More
