Beautiful large limestone cathedral at the very top of St. Emilion village. Easy to visit and nearby everything. History and beauty combined.

no pictures allowed in the monolithic church but it's jaw dropping when we're in this huge amount of space, dugout because they needed stones to build houses and castles. simple and certainly medieval.

Eight euros per person for the tour and it is absolutely amazing. I believe it was started around 1100. It's a must-see it's a one hour tour in the tour guide was very knowledgeable. We did it in English. You're not allowed to take pictures.
