This was fun in many ways. The wine cellar is a must see just to see how things were/are done, and the stone carvings are quite nice too. That was fun, but our wine tasting experience was even more fun starting with the young woman asking us if we wanted wine to save, or wine to drink. We chuckled as... More

The girl offering the wine tasting wasn't the friendliest we have met but we asked lots of questions and once we started to chat she was fine. Wine... More

Very good cellar visit easily accessible at the bottom of the town. We would have stayed to taste and purchase some of their vintages had it not been for the appalling attitude from the 2 young girls running the tasting - very rude. We went elsewhere and discovered a much better experience at Ch Laniotte. If you want to sell... More

It's interesting to stroll around the wine cellar for a short time. A free attraction that should be made if you have some timr over during a St Emilion visit.

Very friendly and open - good advice without bias. Generous glasses to taste . Good purchases - well recommended as it was good atmosphere, easily accessible as it sits within the town and is therefore an easy part of any day visit.

Interesting to see the old cave. We then decided to try a wine tasting. €5 for two dribbles of wine? One bottle retailed at €11 and the other at €16. A complete rip-off

In Saint Emilion itself, so accessible without a car, this is an authentic wine cellar, free to visit though in all honesty unspectacular! On entering we were invited to explore the cellar at no charge and kind of felt obliged to. It was fun but I was pleased I had iOS 7 Installed so I could use the torch on... More

Free to visit, large cellars very close to town centre. You can visit the cellars without any pressure to buy or even to taste the wine. Great place to get an idea of what a real cellar in St Emilion looks like without having to book an official tour. Highly recommended and some good wine to taste and buy if... More

The tour here is free and they allow you to go through their caves on your own, or at least that is how it worked the day we were there. We really liked seeing the caves and how it connected to other caves via gates and bricked up walls. A really interesting place with good wine. We liked the 2003... More
