What fun finding this cool shop in Anacapri. It was so original with very creative pottery that was usable. I bought an olive dish with a long fish painted on it. When I got home to the US - I decided I wanted 5 more and contacted the shop owner via email and they were able to send my order to me in less than 2 weeks! My friends I gave the plates to - love them!!

I bought items in the Tavasi shop in Capri and was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship that I ordered plates and trays to my home in the US as well. I am very impressed with this shop. The shop was super helpful and catered to my needs. Also, the shipping was super fast and everything arrived in perfect condition. I saw many ceramic shops while in Capri. I feel this was the best and the easiest to deal with. We plan on ordering more in the future. Definitely make this one of your Capri stops! Or just check them out online. Great people !

Amazing ceramics!!! Do not miss this spot while in Anacapri. We had a small issue with our order and they immediately made it right! Buy with confidence from this beautiful shop!

Beautiful pottery and very friendly people! We ordered lovely cups, a jug and a tapas tray. The pottery were shipped to our home in Sweden. The goods were neatly packed and shipped to our complete satisfaction! We strongly recommend this shop!

This store is filled with beautifully designed products and the the staff make this an even better store. My husband and I recently visited and bought a spoon holder and after mentioning that we would love to order more items, they provided us with their business card. Shortly after visiting this store, we sat down on a bench and my Iphone fell out of my shorts. By the time we were able to locate the phone, we had left Capri. In desperation I reached out to the store to help and they were incredible! They personally went to the location and after some time they helped locate my phone and ship it to me in England. I am forever grateful to the staff for helping in a time of need. I can't recommend this store more! Their items are truly unique works of art.

I am so happy with my two tiles which I ordered while visiting Capri! We visit the island every year for 20 years now and we have special places that we love. I sent Gennaro two pictures and he painted two amazing tiles 20 x20 cm, one with the Villa San Michelle and the other with a a favourite umbrella pine tree on Via Tiberio on the way to Villa Jovis. They were executed and shipped to the Netherlands in two weeks. They look amazing, they exceed my expectations! The artistic choices that Gennaro made were perfect, the colours soft... wonderful! Thank you so much!

After recently visiting Capri and choosing our purchase we are absolutely delighted when it arrived safe and sound today in our Manchester home, it’s beautiful. Ceramiche Tavassi apart from being a talented bunch couldn’t have been more helpful arranging and overseeing the shipping back to the UK. This is the second time we have visited this jewel of a shop on the main street in Anacapri. The first time we bought a tile the color of the sea (la Grotta Azzurra) that makes us think every day of this beautiful place. This year, we were immediately smitten by two lamps, the bases of which are the artist's rendition of sea urchins (ricci di mare). Gorgeous. I also bought a small "Riccio" dish in the color of the Grotta Verde!

I ordered 3 custom bowls at this shop in Anacapri. I paid to have them shipped to my home in the US, but the bowls I received were not what I ordered. I emailed right away and included pictures, I was assured that I would receive the correct item (this was in May 2019). By June 2019 I still hadn't received anything, the owner replied that they forgot and I would receive the very expensive custom bowls that I paid for soon. It is now September 2019 and the owner has stopped responding and I haven't received anything. This is extremely upsetting and disappointing. The owner clearly has my money and doesn't care. STAY AWAY. There are many other shops that won't take your money and then disappear like this shop did.

and we were at AnaCapri a few days ago but no one knew of him
