We decided to head into town to check this out. We were recommended the jetty but unfortunately it is closed and looks like it has been for some time.

If travelling through I recommend stopping here. The bay is very beautiful and would be great to have a picnic. There are a few shops (cafe, bakery, fish n chips store) nearby also.

A World Heritage area on 4 counts; how good does it get?!?! Colours in the land, sea life, animals on the land and a great list of activities; a place not to be missed.

The beaches are very calm in Denham, little lagoon is also very good for kids with shallow waters. Don't miss out on heading over to Monkey Mia for dolphin experience and great swimming.

Hi scipio A. I totally agree with the last reply. Give Denham a miss. For that matter we found monkey Mia a big let down. Save your time for Geraldton or Canarvon. Much better money spent
