The Yardie Creek Boat cruise is an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it. Yardie Creek isn't that far from Exmouth, but because of the 80kmh speed limit in the national park it does take about 1.5hrs to drive there. The scenery in the gorge is amazing, and our guide Ash was very friendly and knowledgeable. You get to... More

Thanks for your feedback and review Tammy & we are glad you enjoyed the boat tour with your family during the April school holidays & that Peter (aka Boxy) entertained you with some local gems ... perplexed by the 40 minutes duration instead of one (1) hour, but I'll talk to Boxy about that right now? Happy & safe travels... More

We had a great time on this tour, we saw so much in Yardie Creek, from the local turtles (myrtle and her boyfriend), the local kangaroo, the local rock wallabies (we saw 15 on the rock ledges), the local 2m shark and many stingrays. Our tour guide was very friendly and funny, and it was pretty much non-stop viewing of... More

We took this boat tour in order to see a bit more wildlife on the sides of Yardie Creek. The creek cliffs were full of rock wallabies and a few ospreys so it was definitely worth doing, and although it was a hot cloudless day the shade from the cliffs and the boat effectively kept us cool. In my view... More

Thanks for your review John - it's the first time we've been described as "quirky", but if quirky means a little bit different, then we are always aiming for a point of difference and that's great! The experience of cruising up the creek, spotting some unique wildlife, under the shade of the boat canopy, whilst the breeze cools you down... More

We went on this tour today and it was great! The tour guide, Boxy, was very friendly and informative. The creek was beautiful and easy to access from the car park. The rock wallabies were out but we also saw fish, ospreys and a turtle in the hour tour. The boat is not overcrowded and it is comfortable. We took... More

We visited Cape Range National Park at Exmouth WA. We did the Yardie Creek Boat tour with Peter. He really knows his the history of the place being a local since he was 5. The children (11, 8 & 5) really enjoyed the boat cruise & seeing the wildlife (birds, rock wallabies & fish). Would recommend to any family. Thanks... More

Peter (Boxie), our boatman is a very experienced local. Friendly and knowledgeable. Leisurely cruise up the creek. See rock wallabies, osprey, maybe turtles and stingrays and the occasional eagle sending the local bird life into a tizz.. If the tide is up, get right to the top of the creek. Whenever we spied something, Peter would take the time to... More

Thanks for your great review of Yardie Creek Boat Tours & Capt. Boxy! You've really summed up all the "highlights" extremely well! We always encourage our visitors to take a picnic lunch with them on their "Day on the West Side" - after the boat tour, it's great to do the walk along the creek or head back to one... More
