Our family visited the park several times during our visit to the Yanchep area. The picnic areas and BBQs were abundant, clean and well maintained. Wildlife is easy to find within the park and there are plenty of walks and tours to interest the whole family.

There are plenty of shaded picnic areas around this park, and plenty of things to see and do. With caves, koalas, a lake and wetland system, and an Aboriginal culture tour, there's plenty for everyone. Or you can spend a few hours exploring the bush trails and finish off with a coffee from the Tea Rooms.

A lovely place for a days visit. Good walkways with plenty to see, kangaroos may hop past as your walking or you may see them milling around in the shade. If you want to see koalas go on the koala walk and make sure you have some binoculars as sometimes it can be hard to see them as they tend... More

We stopped here on our way North. The national park charges a $12 fee per car which is great value. Plenty of things for the kids to do with a great picnic area under trees and close to a lake. The area is grassed with BBQ facilities, tables and plenty of native birds to look at. Also a short walk... More

Our unplanned, spontaneous visit to Yanchep NP was a great way to spend an afternoon. The staff at the visitor center were very friendly and gave us a nice, thorough explanation of the Park's offerings, as well as a few tips and some advice. Not having planned to visit, we had no idea what was available in this small highway-side... More

Had a lovely afternoon here on the way back to Perth from PInnacles Desert. The place had a really relaxed feel to it and the wildlife was fantastic. We saw kangaroos, koalas and great bird life too. It's a really beautiful place and the lunch was very nice too!

Nice national park, but there are many others that are much better in Australia. This just seems like the go-to national park for those living in Perth. However, the campsite was lovely and was well worth the stay.

Took business guests from Portugal on way back to Perth airport after trip to GERALDTON. Saw the koalas and kangaroos in a nice peaceful non zoo like setting. Only had one hour and this was enough for photos and lasting impression.

Not far from perth city this lovely park is a great way to spend a morning watching and walking amongst the kangaroos and birds. Find the roos resting in shady spots in the morning sun.. Also a good pub in the park for a pint and pie.
