This was our first stop on our sightseeing trip to this area. I enjoyed this place because it was very easy to maneuver with a small pet. Nice views too!

It's a neat spot. The views are the best part. It's a little hard to tell which exact rock is the blowing rock, it's not as distinct as you'd think. The trails and shops are neat. Definitely bring quarters for the viewers, that's what makes it worth the money to go in.

We stayed just across the road from the Blowing Rock, and it's an interesting spot to view the mountains with a great viewing platform. But if you are short on time, you're not really going to see much more here, than any of the viewing platforms along the BRP

Our family visited with all the kids. It wasn't real pricey and the kids enjoyed exploring. We took the opportunity to get some much needed pictures of the family and the views from here made for a perfect backdrop! If ever a chance to return to the area will def visit The Blowing Rock!!

This attraction is a must when in Blowing Rock of the High Country area of NC. A visit yesterday made our day. First of all the admission price is low. The enjoyment and beauty we experienced is worth more than the reasonable price of admission. Plan to clear your head while you are there. It has to be best view... More

We were at the blowing rock during off season but early June so the weather was gorgeous and flowers blooming. It was not crowded which made our visit so pleasant. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The views were beautiful. They allow you to picnic there which we did. The walk is easily negotiated by any age group but there are... More

A nice short walk uphill from the parking lot. There are very great photo opportunities. Many hikers though, but definitely worth a visit for the nice views. A tip: continue further up the track after the blowing rock, you´ll see more big boulders with amazing views and less people.

We realy enjoyed our visit to Blowing Rock today. After a dismal visit to Grandfather Mountain, we drove to Blowing Rock to see if it was as good as the reviews. We were happy to find oit it was. Reasonable price, no caged wildlife, though there were 2 frendly cats. The views were worth the visit. Easy to walk the... More

This is a small park but offers excellent views of the surrounding area. Getting there is a bit of a hassle due extensive road construction in the area, but worth it.
